@helens18584 years ago I'm in Little Rock, AR. Our governor and State & Local police have verified that outside forces arrived into our city, with organized plans to disrupt the peaceful protests. It is not the protesters doing this. They brought in weapons-guns, molotov cocktails, etc., and actually started fires, damaged building, etc., all this is going on to make the protests looked on as negative, wrong. Last night, after discovering all these, the governor set an earlier curfew, declared a state of emergency and made no attempt to stop the protests. Our police chief and mayor had marched briefly with the protestors the night before. We think this really angered the extremists--they threatened the protesters and the lives of the mayor and the chief of police. Last night there were no incidences of violence during the protests--they had been at it all day even a period when they blocked a main intersection downtown to be arrested! the State police were aware of their plan.Even the arrests were peaceful, no force by the police, no resistence by the peaceful protestors! Later they even marched from the state capital to the governor's mansion-PEACEFULLY, hundreds of them, heavily guaded by the law enforcers. It is NOT the protestors that are violent--it's the outsiders (racists, extremists, etc.) that are coming into peaceful protests and throwing salt on them! PRAY ... 1
