V: "If you know what's gonna happen, why watch it over and over again?"
Vik: "I guess I'm just trying to see what he did wrong. Where he made a mistake. So far, the only thing I've come up with is - he got into a ring with a bigger opponent. but it's hard to call that a mistake"
It's pretty much a metaphor for V and Johnny going up against Arasaka. There is no winning. You've lost the moment you agreed to go on that heist for Dexter. You're in the ring with a bigger dude, and it doesn't really matter what you do, you're still going to lose.
It's a really beautiful moment that ties very well into the ending. I feel like it went unnoticed by a lot of people, since I can't find that moment anywhere on Youtube. ....وسعت 5512

V asks what that is, and Judy replies: "It makes me feel alone". I think there is something powerful about this and how it was delivered for some reason for me. You go through this entire journey that spans the entire city and not necessarily thinking about any of this. It feels so poetic; Johnny gets his redemption and V finally becomes a legend of NC, just id="hidden17" class="buttons"> like what He and Jackie wanted. Giving johnny control at the end just fit the story so well imo, being able to take out smasher, take down arasaka and say goodbye to rogue after she dies and then having johnny “die” by giving the body back to V.
I pushed for a good relationship between V and Johnny throughout the whole game and seeing how their relationship developed from Johnny trying to kill V at the start, to him somewhat saving V and making him a legend of Night City was so cool. Yes it’s bittersweet as V is eventually going to die but seeing him goin out with a bang by breaking into the space casino (I forgot what it was called) is such a fitting end to his character and solidfies him as the greatest merc of all of night city.
Honestly loved this game, i became so invested with all the characters and felt that decisions were genuinely so difficult to make and made me acc think for a while. It had a rocky start with all the bugs, which is why i waited for the next gen versions until i played it, but it turned out to be something magnificent and i think ppl should definitely give it another chance because the story and the characters are so rich. @ThuleanVenomمنذ 2 سنوات I have done all the endings on multiple playthroughs, but I think my favorite one is Corpo V with New Dawn Fades ending and no romances.
I know id="hidden25" class="buttons"> it isn't the orthodox choice of favorite ending, but to me it is the most emotional and bittersweet one. V had nobody ever looking out for him especially being a Corp until he met Jackie, and after Jackie's death, he was utterly alone in that regard until Johnny, who tried everything to kill V, then would've done anything to save him, and then V sacrifices possession of his body to Johnny since he was inevitably dying anyways.
This ending to me really articulated how depressing the world of Night City is, but the rare moments of comedy or joy were really memorable and laughable in the game when you reflected on them post ending. ....وسعت 7

Didn't really know which one will suit better, but this one turned out to be perfect: my nomad id="hidden31" class="buttons"> V wasn't sure what to expect from Night City, but after watching Jackie die he promised himself to get to the "higher leagues", and in this ending he gets what he wants: becomes the king of Afterlife, and goes out with the bang(or at least i hope so). Didn't know about secret ending, maybe this one would be cool for my character's story. Nomad ending wouldn't make any sense since V was a nomad himself and had his reasons to stop riding with Bakkers or any other clans or families, and the corpo one is only good if you're trying to roleplay someone who is completely lost and haven't understood the sad truth of life in Night City. V sacrificing himself for Johny to live is also a cool idea, especially combined with doing a suicide run, so there's no one with you who can feel tricked after Johny walks out of Mikoshi instead of V, this ending is also the most emotional for me, but my V trusted Johny so much, that Silverhand just couldn't betray him. The game is a masterpiece, made me fall in love with it's characters, 12/10, already planning a second playthrough with a fem-V netrunner build and nomad ending. ....وسعت 8

In a very id="hidden32" class="buttons"> emotional, cyberpunky way that Rogue/Secret didn't do for me. Was much more moving to me. It made RPing continuity easy too, since you're going back to earth, back to the adventure, not "3 months later, here's your stale ass life & your lover hates you". Every ending has its bad side, id="hidden35" class="buttons"> close people got hurt or even killed. Everything about V gets destroyed step by step, it's neurochip especially. It's not about winning ''Something" , It's always survive and only survive in NC.
This game left a deep void in me. Once I've got it finished at around 4AM in the morning and heard this ending song, I almost burst into tears. The Melody, the Storyline, Characters felt SO DAMN REAL TO ME!!
This game felt so immersive, even of those pesky bugs. This being the reason why I haven't played it for almost 2 years after its original launch. People only criticized the tehnical aspect of the game (Bad side being bugs and Good side being great Graphics, RTX & stuff) but the STORYLINE is what makes it so damn special.
So much time has passed since I've ever experienced something similar to this game. It's just. Special to me <3. That's Why I am writing this whole paragraph. Can't forget Misty last words from the voicemail about V. I think is a refference of Us, People who plays the game. Warn us to have focus on real life and not only on a Video Game. ''Take care. Be free, V!".
I've played this game like a beast, finishing it in my first 15 hours but I don't regret a DAMN MINUTE! V gets to live (shortly) and Johnny id="hidden37" class="buttons"> cripples Arasaka. It makes the whole game feel like Johnny's redemption, finally able to take down Arasaka, but also sacrificing himself to save friend after he wasn't able to save Alt. Personally my favorite id="hidden40" class="buttons"> is where you give Johnny control and he gets to live his life after the trip to the cemetary, especially with the Rogue and Johnny path, man that really got to me. Still, the romantic in me just hopes that one of the FREELC or DLC is a bunch of additional missions (to find new tech or steal the another version of the chip so that you can be installed on to it and begin to re-write your own body after Johnn has left it etc) which can be completed in order to unlock a happier fairy tale ending. @hawkshuntedمنذ 2 سنوات As Corpo V, I couldn't imagine any other ending besides the Secret Ending. IMO, it's the most consistent with V's character & ambition, id="hidden41" class="buttons"> and it also honors Jackie the most (Corpo has the strongest relation with Jackie compared to the others). Attacking Arasaka Tower alone is payback for V losing everything when he/she got fired, and strengthens the story in which V is becoming more like Johnny as the time progresses. Johnny got his redemption in the coolest way possible and he got back together with Alt. V gets to say the proper goodbye after living with his/her partner, and he gets to fulfill his dream of becoming a legend.
This ending also fulfills 2 foreshadowing: "Going out with a bang" during a convo Dex & that legends have to die in order to have a drink named in their honor during convo with Claire & Jackie.
I do enjoy Panam's ending. But in reality, it will make her suffer more as she would have to watch her lover's death helplessly. Plus, if we're serious, I don't think V can abandon his lifetime ambition for a girl he has only met for several weeks. I mean if you're a Corpo V, you have known Jackie for way longer than you have met Panam.
Arasaka ending for a Corpo is really stupid. Corpo V has lost everything to Arasaka when he/she got "fired". In fact, he/she changed his life and trusted Jackie because of it. It would make the least amount of sense to opt for this ending, especially when he/she got to experience the corruption of Arasaka first hand, both as an operator and as someone getting fired. ....وسعت 54

But after Johnny’s construct was introduced, i started to become more and more sympathetic and loose my desire to be the best merc. I felt Johnny’s life was far to short and seeing as no matter what I do to save myself… I will die and Panam who I ended up falling for would be left a widow regardless. So I gave johnny the second chance at life to be what I sacrificed. I find this ending to just be poetic ....وسعت 2

But it always sting with the thought it will only last a few months, that happiness with Judy is short lived, it has a bitterness to it. I think that is kinda good as well, life isn't just happy endings. Ofc, wish one might have been a bit happier compared to the others where V is fine if you did a lot of side shit.
I wonder though, with these endings, seems impossible to have a DLC or story stuff that takes place afterwards, some think you might be able to fix the short lifespan you have and can do more afterwards, but I am guessing it will just be content before the point of no return. ....وسعت 7

Judy and V (female) live in a luxury tower and Judy feels bad that this is id="hidden56" class="buttons"> not what she wanted. V and Judy both take a shower and then procceed to talk about their feelings in the city and how they feel about everything, when Judy says she feels alone again, and needs to leave the city and leave V behind. They then say their tearful goodbye, while V take a bus to the afterlive for her last contract - the secret ending.
In this ending, everybody lives - except Rogue, as she was killed by Adam Smasher. ....وسعت 5

@PR0N0G0D7منذ 2 سنوات Picked the Rogue and Johnny path first, it ended the same way as Panam, felt closer to Johnny and the option to continue as Johnny intrigues me, did all id="hidden57" class="buttons"> the other endings and yes Panam ending is the best one by far, I wish when you went to the space casino that it was an actual mission. The game is amazing, beat everything in 67 hours, bought it for 30, not a bad time whatsoever, the bugs it did have made me laugh, and not only that but I was immersed into the characters and choices I had to make ....وسعت 2
