At the moment, autos can only punish people who make mistakes (like the kills in your opening clips) but if there's a strafing hand cannon 3 tappers or a HC peeker... @chasm6165 years ago That whole peekshot dilemma is why I enjoy Suros so much. With Spinning Up you can actually do a great peek if you time it well. Gets them off guard all the time when they peek and suddenly get sprayed into flinch hell like its Sweet Business. ...

Markov is basically the unnerfed version swashbuckler. @AnthonyJGianotti5 years ago I know 450’s suck but man I have a QuickDraw killclip ringing nail that is a beast when paired with revoker. Go for montage snipe, hit the body, immediately switch to ringing nail to clean up the kill which procs kill clip and sets into motion operation delete enemy team. It’s just such a fun pairing that puts a smile on my face every time I use it. ...

Rampage is Rampage, but Overflow lets it get 96 rounds in the magazine. If you put a Backup Mag mod on, it goes up to 100+ rounds with Overflow active. ...

@ericgee61145 years ago My gnawing hunger has autoloading and multi kill clip. Shreds but def not as stable as I'd like. I have the season pass auto with a ton of stability and it's like a Lazer. I think tap the trigger has a lot to do with why yours is super accurate. Def a God roll. Makes me miss uriels gift ...

@DerultimativeOzzy5 years ago Auto rifles definitly are fine damage wise, but stat wise I would say they need a bit of love. Archtypes like the high impact frame need more stability so the recoil doesn't kick too hard. A Halfdan-d absolute needs every bit of stability it can get to be reliable. I've gotten lucky with a Gahlrans right hand with zen moment and range finder on it. Once the first shot hits, things are getting smooth.
A bit of extra handling would also be nice.
But other than that, Autos are definitly fine weapons in the current sandbox. Some archtypes are just a bit rare and therefore difficult to reliably farm a good roll on. ...

@AnthonyJGianotti5 years ago I know this is an older video but I was searching to see if anyone else had noticed how good this was because woah this gun is a monster. I have a near max range roll with auto loading holster (not sure why alh is not a more loved perk, it’s so nice to blaze a path of destruction swap to secondary weapon and have a full mag when you swap back) and swashbuckler and it is a blast to use. I pair it with a sniper or shotty and just melt people. With the hc range nerf I find it more difficult to run a hand cannon shotty combo since you can not engage mid range at all, this archetype of auto fills that gap nicely especially if you dislike using pulses like myself. Also, I’m not a fan of hand cannon sniper because it leaves you exposed close range but the hunger paired with a sniper or shotty is a very deadly combo and superior to the traditional antiope snipe in almost every way.
As for other autos, 720 rpms are pretty nice (but I think a fairly useless archetype because they have less range then other autos and a slower ttk then comparable smgs like antiope and bad reputation) along with 360’s but for me the 600’s are in the best spot autos in general have ever been in destiny. Personally I prefer an auto meta over anything else because it forces people to engage more and emphasizes target tracking to secure a kill. Now a buff to 450’s to give them a relaxed .8-.87 ttk would be icing on the cake, I have a quickdraw kill clip ringing nail just begging to be used! ...

@gustavogonzalez35915 years ago Math wise it should be exactly .5 seconds, because you see 40 to the head, so 40x5 = 200, any guardian has typically 196-198 so it takes 5 bullets to the head, then, if it's a 600 rpm, it means it's a 10 bullets per second (math: 600 rpm / 60 s = 10 bps) but I think the number is rounded up to display 40 because some people say .47 s which doesn't have much sense to have 3 milisecond less xD ...

Night Watch can roll Rapid Hit/Multikill Clip, can two-tap, and has high handling since it's a lightweight, Gnawing Hunger can actually out-TTK Recluse with Multikill Clip, Outlast has been severely buffed and reaches the same TTK as Redrix with Desperado with Kill Clip. Rangefinder Spare Rations will out-range Ace and Crimson. Now that the grind isn't nearly as ridiculous as it used to, there's literally no reason NOT to be grinding for those. ...

180 lose a lot of damage from 26 to 30 meters, then 110 already have terrible time to kill and were destroyed by the changes when they have to compete inside of that 30 meters ranges with other handcannons. ...

@Aurkus235 years ago I've been shredding with my Duty Bound(Using Zen Moment) and have been getting rekt by Pluperfects and Cerberus+1. The spot for ARs definitely improved with the range nerfs though pulse rifles still feel insanely good.
