@Aja-Christian3 years ago Oh my goodness, a few years ago I was in a relationship with a man I truly loved (and I know he loved me) but after a while I just started growing apart from him. I would calmly try to talk to him and he said we could work on things together but I was still putting in 90% but he was still only putting in about 10%. Suddenly our laughs and upbeat times became less and less. I had less and less to say to him; he'd tell me about his day and good or bad, I just didn't care about his day the way I used to. I still loved him but he was just draining me emotionally until I couldn't take it anymore. I remember being parked in my car one day and I was on the phone, just letting him talk, not sure how to tell him I was emotionally done with him. After hanging up I just sat there and cried.
This song PERFECTLY captures my emotions during that time. It was one of those songs where I could already tell what the song was about without looking up the translation. Emotionally letting go of someone you once held up in your heart is a pain like nothing else 😞💔 ... 10

I want to say to you guys that Standard Arabic is one the most beautiful languages ever , evey Arabic country has its dialects and accents or even other languages besides Arabic , but usually there is one famous dialect in each country , this song is in the famous dialect of Egypt that we all know and understand , the singer is Lebanese ... enjoy
I speak more than a language and way more than an accent inside my country and outside and understand way more accents , but if I weren't half native arab , I would learn Arabic without a doubt , I really recomand it to you , it's so beautiful , you can pick the standard or just go with a certain Arabic dialect and practice and listen to songs and watch films and series , You would find a lot in Egyptian and Lebanese , that's why they are easy , because you can find things to practice with ... 10
