In this video, we will discuss the latest updates on Pokhara International Airport and Gautam Buddha International Airport, the government is planning to inauguration them in 2078 BS first quarter. The construction of Pokhara International Airport is being done by China CAMC Engineering Company Ltd with loan support from China EXIM Bank. Its physical infrastructure progress is 90% and major work remaining is the installation of equipment for flight operation. The runway of Pokhara International Airport is 2,500 meters in length and 45 meters in width which can handle medium category jets such as Boeing 757 and Airbus 320, according to Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal. This project aimed to complete in the predetermined time. The construction of Gautam Buddha International Airport is being done by Northwest Civil Aviation Airport Construction Group with loan support from Asian Development Bank. Its physical infrastructure progress is 90% and major work remaining is the installation of equipment for flight operation. The runway of GBIA is 3000 meters in length and 45 meters in width which can handle medium category jets such as Boeing 757 and Airbus 320, according to Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal.
