Today I am making my own version of Bun Thang topped with shredded eggs, steamed pork roll, and steamed shrimp paste. Ingredients: 1 steamed pork roll (you can purchase from any Asian market) You can also make it from home 2. 2 pounds of shrimps 2 pounds of Rice Vermicelli (Any brand is okay) 3 Dried Shallots 3 Lemon wedges 5 eggs to make pancake like eggs and cut into long strips 1 tablespoon of fish sauce ½ -1 dykon 1 pound of pork bone 1 bag of beansprout 1 bag of mixed herbs, mint Steamed shrimp paste preparation: Peel and deveined all shrimps. Use a food processor to grind shrimps into a paste. Add 1 teaspoon of salt, pepper, sesame oil, and corn starch. Transfer the paste into a Ziploc bag and make a cut the corner. Leave it in the refrigerator if not used right away. Steamed pork roll preparation: You can purchase one roll at any Asian market nearby. Otherwise, you can add ham, or shredded chicken.
