Eggless lemon cake is a very easy tea time snack recipe. Today we are making it in kadhai. It turns out soft, moist and spongy. It doesn’t need too many ingredients, can be made from the ingredients easily available in your kitchen. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Ingredients:
• 1 cup powdered Sugar
• 1 cup Milk
• 1/2 cup Oil
• Yellow food color (Optional)
• 2 cups Maida
• 2 tsp Baking powder
• 1/2 tsp Baking soda
• Lemon zest
• 2 tsp Lemon juice
Method:
• Take powdered sugar, milk, oil, food color in a bowl and mix everything well together.
• The milk should be at room temperature.
• You can skip food color if you don’t want. Adding food color is optional.
• Place a sieve on the bowl and add maida, baking powder, baking soda and mix well.
• Sieve the mixture into the bowl and mix everything well together.
• Add lemon zest, lemon juice and mix well.
• Line up a baking tray with wax paper and pour the cake batter into it.
• Tap the tray really good so that air bubbles if ay will be removed.
• Preheat the kadhai on medium heat for about 7-8 minutes.
• Place a stand at the base of the kadhai and the cake tin on it.
• Cover the kadhai with a hot pan or skillet and bake the cake on medium heat for about 40-45
minutes.
• You can bake the cake in oven on 180 Deg C for 40 minutes.
• Remove the skillet and check the cake with a tooth pick.
• Cover the kadhai with a napkin and rest the cake for 30 minutes.
• When the cake cools down loosen the edges and flip it over into a dish.
• Eggless lemon cake is all ready.
