Deseed the jackfruit and transfer it to blender. Blend them into a fine paste 2. Transfer the jackfruit paste into a thick bottomed aluminum or non stick kadai and start stirring. 3. Add jaggery to the jackfruit paste and start stirring it. Don't let the pan stick to the paste 4. Keep the stove in low/ medium flame and start stirring well till the mixture comes into semi solid state 5. More we stir, we can preserve it for more days 6. Allow to cook for more time till the mixture gets dark brown colour and more shiny and a very thick paste. 7. Delicious Jackfruit jam is ready Important note: Allow it to cool and transfer it in a air tight container and keep it in refrigerator and preserve it for more time. You can make more delicious dishes using this jam like jackfruit Kheer( chakka pradaman), elai ada, poornam stuffed kozhukattai and more. I have used one full jackfruit to preserve it for more time and use it for various dishes. But I have given very little amount in the ingredients section to start with. (It's good to start with less amount) if you want more quantity of jam, buy large amount of jackfruit add Jaggery as required. Hope you find the video very useful and effective.
