Aisa Wala Pulao🍗:Ingredients & Recipe below:-
- Blend together 2 strings of curry leaves, handful of mint leaves, handful of coriander leaves with stem, 14 garlic cloves, 2 inch ginger, 6 green chillies, 1 tsp each of black peppercorns, coriander seeds, half tsp mustard seeds and 1 cup curd into a fine paste.
- Marinate 1 kg chicken with the paste prepared above, 1 tbsp each of salt, coriander powder, half tsp turmeric and 1 tbsp green chilli paste. Let it sit for 20 minutes.
- Heat 7 tbsp oil in a Kadhai and add in 1 bay leaf, 1 tsp cumin seeds, half tsp fennel seeds, 4 green & 1 black cardamom, 4 cloves and 2.5 inch cinnamon stick. Let them pop for 30 seconds on high then add in 5 thinly sliced onions.
- Fry the onions for 7-8 minutes on high until golden. Now add in the marinated Chicken and fry on high for 5 minutes. Add in 2.5 cups of water giving it a good mix and close the lid turning flame to low for 15 minutes checking and stirring in between.
- Now add in 1 tbsp garam masala powder and 1 tsp salt followed by 600 grams soaked basmati rice. Give it a good mix turning flame to high. As the surface water evaporates turn flame to low and let it cook covered on dum for 16-18 minutes.
